Dr. Jonathan Suber, DVM, DACVS
Dr. Jonathan Suber received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduating, he completed a year long internship at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Suber returned to Columbia to complete a three year residency in Veterinary Surgery. It was during this time that orthopedic surgery became his main interest and focus of research.
Dr. Suber was on staff at a large, multi-specialty practice in Columbia for 15 years. During this time, he trained surgical residents and interns, participated in several research projects and published articles for scientific journals. He served as medical director for 7 years. For the last 3 years, he has served on the board for the Veterinary Orthopedic Society.
Dr. Suber lives in Columbia with his wife, Amanda and their two children, Jack and Izzi. They live with a Boykin Spaniel name Lynyrd, a French Bulldog named LuLu and two cats; Snowflake and T-Nasty.
