Post-Op Care

Our process swiftly diagnoses, treats, and supports recovery, ensuring your pet heals effectively.

Discharge Timeline
  • Pickup is normally the day after surgery (sometimes more than a one-day stay is required depending on the procedure).
  • At this time, one of our team members will instruct you on how to care for your pet at home. We will supply written instructions and video demonstrations.
  • Our team will also supply you with medications and a record of times they were administered here at our facility. We'll send you home with an ice pack and a walking sling as needed. 
  • We will schedule any necessary rechecks, but don't hesitate to call if you have any questions or concerns after you get home.
  • We want to follow you through this journey make sure that your pet is healing well! We can't wait to see them back to their normal, pet life.

Am I charged for rechecks?

All follow-up rechecks are free of charge. The only additional charges are for extra medications or bandage changes as needed.

When will I be able to pickup my pet?

You will receive a call the morning after your pet's surgery with details on how they did overnight and when you can pick them up. Discharge hours are typically between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays, we discharge between 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM. During the call, we will set a specific discharge time for you to come in and pick up your pet.
