Common Questions

We seek to give you peace of mind by answering your questions and concerns.

Why do I need a consultation after a vet already gave a diagnosis?

A consultation after a diagnosis is important to confirm the diagnosis and discuss the best course of action. This step ensures that we fully understand your pet's condition and can address any specific concerns you might have. It also allows us to work with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan before proceeding with any major surgical appointments.

Will there be other pets in the waiting room with my pet?

Yes, other pets may be in the waiting room with your pet. We strive to create a comfortable environment for all pets and their owners. However, we ensure that each pet is handled with care and attention, and our staff is trained to manage the interactions between pets to minimize any stress or anxiety. If you have concerns about your pet's comfort around other animals, please feel free to call and discuss this ahead of time.

Will I need to bring any information from my referring vet?

Yes, it's helpful to bring any relevant medical records, test results, or treatment history from your referring vet. This information allows us to better understand your pet's health and make informed care decisions. If you have any questions about what specific information to bring to your situation, please feel free to call ahead of time. Your referring vet could have transferred the needed information already.
